A very good music streaming platform
I don't understand why the reviews here are so bad, I honestly enjoy using Spotify Premium way more than YouTube Music or any other music streaming platform. No issues with the app/subscription, user-friendly stylish interface, lyrics for almost every song available, and all my favorite artists are presented on the platform. I'm using the Premium pack for 5 months now and never had complaints. I'm more than satisfied with the service!

Kicked out of premium and still trying to get a refund
I spent the whole weekend trying to solve issues with Spotify and repeatedly being mistreated by their customer service. I was kicked off Premium with no warning on June 19th, a month after my last successful payment. I tried paying it with my credit cards, which were all refused. Spotify's customer service was just awful, treating me with a total lack of respect ("heyy Ju" is not how you start a professional conversation) and claiming that they have made several attempts to pay the bill and contact me before cancelling, only to stop responding when I showed with screenshots that they hadn't, and had kicked me out minutes after the first attempt of payment didn't work out. The most shocking part is that even though they always agreed that that's not how the company should have acted and that is against their policy, they made no attempt to rectify it.
I was directed to Ebanx, even though I didn't choose this company or signed up to it, and have no idea why I have to deal with an antiquated banking system instead of the supposedly modern streaming company I actually hired. First of all, they didn't even have a chat option on Sundays, even though they were quite happy to cancel my service on a Sunday. They wanted a month long deadline to solve the issue, even though, I repeat, they kicked out me out in minutes. When I pointed to Spotify that that's unacceptable, they pretty much just shrugged. Spotify cares never even answered - I guess they do not care after all. My account was regularized after a few days but I've had it and cancelled my account. Now trying to get a refund from this dishonest company.

BEWARE!
I have a free account but I find that I have been getting charged for the last 3 months. No way to contact the Swedish gang to get this fixed so I had to turn this into my credit card company. Pathetic!

I just had the most excellent customer service from a gentleman named Samuel via Spotify chat. He was helpful, to the point and I wouldn't hesitate to return if I needed help in future :)

As an artist
As an artist, and not a KPOP beloved one, you will be treated like crap if for whatever reason someone is constantly streaming you. They’ll remove your album and say you’re cheating when in fact it’s not your fault at all that people across the seas are constantly streaming you.
However, KPOP and swift fans are allowed to do this because Spotify loves the big corp and hates anyone not on a big label.
Refuse to put your music on this app. They pay sh!t anyway.

Spotify helps me find new music!
Spotify has evolved from a repository of my personal favorites to something much more complex in recent years. The suggested songs "based on my playlist" and "enhance" feature have allowed me to find new interesting songs I hadn't heard before. I do think the algorithm still tends to pigeon-hole me somewhat because I have a lot of 80's and 90's music. I don't necessarily want to hear more 80's and 90's music, I lived through it and know what's out there. There is just a lot of 80's and 90's music in my playlist because there was more good music then. Good music now as well, just fewer songs. Most are highly produced and market tested, not original. Please, Spotify, realize I just like solid songs! All in all though, Spotify is great
audio quality meh
I wish you would give us somewhere to give feedback. First it would be good if in a playlist it would show what songs have already played instead of only what’s next. Next the audio quality… of course its good quality with premium but its not the best, even youtube sounds better sometimes. Spotify audio to me sounds very thin if that makes sense, i have noticed a lack of body in the sound, the focus is more on vocals than the beat it would be good to have balance. Yes i’ve played around with the eq but it’s still the same sound. It kind of gives you a headache after a while especially playing it on speaker headphones are okay.
Steer clear of Spotify!
Spotify uses data when you're listening to downloaded music. It does this when "download using cellular is set to OFF!". When Spotify is set to offline mode, it will stop working after a few songs.
If you are using Spotify, you will run out of data!

6 year premium customer. Pretty well count on my music from Spotify to get me through life, 1 missed payment and my account was not dropped from premium but removed, along with all my saved music. Will be using a competitor from now on, and happily so.
